People with disabilities who attend SunriseArc's day program have undertaken a very worthy cause: sending holiday greetings and goody bags to our men and women serving in harm's way overseas. The brainchild of Michelle Scott the effort is already under way!
Unique hand made greeting cards along with sundries such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, soaps, shampoos and so forth are being collected as this blog goes to press.
Our many thanks to the men and women who will spend their holiday season away from their loved ones and enduring hardships few us can imagine. We hope this small token of our best wishes to them will be well received.
